How abacus helps in brain development

Human brain has two hemispheres, the left and the right brain. Left side of the brain has the ability to analyze the information given say learning, languages sound etc but cannot bring a solution to a problem if given. At the same time the right brain can visualize the problem and can come out with the solution. It is the creative side and has the capacity to find different solutions to one problem. The photographic image is just excellent.

For example if a person is meeting his classmate or friend after a gap of 20-25 years he/ she can remember the face though remembering the name is a difficult task. This is the beauty of right brain function.

While learning abacus children are able to imagine the abacus and do the calculations mentally by moving the beads in their mind. Since they use both the hands, for the operation both the sides of the brain function together to reach the expected result.

Why maths is media because accuracy can be seen only in maths.

Basic operations, of addition, ,subtraction, multiplication and division are taught through abacus.

We always say maths is a subject one can score 100 % or it will be a zero if concept is not clear.  It helps the children in their concentration, speed, accuracy, confident , logical and analytical skills, listening skills . That’s how we call abacus education is a brain development programme
