DOES ABACUS HELP IN LEARNING MATHS ?
Is abacus useful in maths. Very interesting question.
When we say abacus it means we are talking about a tool with beads fixed for basic arithmetic
operations of addition, subtraction multiplication and division by manipulating the beads. Abacus is
taught as early as 5 years old for the children once they can recognise and write numbers from 1 to
100. Abacus learning is the best way to improve the arithmetic skills. It helps the children to
develop interest and passion in maths at an early age.. Not only it helps them to become proficient
in maths but also improves in their logical analytical thinking, confidence level, accuracy and speed
in their day today activities. Hence one can confidently say that abacus is useful for kids.
